What we do:

Eversio Wellness Ltd. is proud to offer high potency functional mushroom extract products that deliver measurable benefits because they are made from whole fruiting body mushrooms that are grown outside on organic farms. We also operate a Research Development facility in South Surrey, BC that cultivates mushrooms to be developed into marketable, health related products.

Who you are:

Minimum completion of university undergraduate degree or college diploma in biological science, preferably botany, mycology, forestry, or chemistry. 

Understanding of microbiology techniques, making growth media, sterilization methods, agar plate handling, extraction, and distillation methods.

Strong attention to detail

Strong interpersonal skills

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

Willing to undergo a Health Canada clearance check, and CRC to work with controlled substances

What you will do:

Assist with the following:

  1. Prepare liquid and plate media for cultivation of mushrooms
  2. Prepare mushroom growth substrates
  3. Sterilization of media and substrates
  4. Inoculation of liquid cultures and substrates
  5. Monitoring of mycelial growth
  6. Harvesting mushroom fruiting bodies
  7. Processing of mushroom fruiting bodies (dehydrating, extraction, concentration of mushroom extracts)
  8. Daily monitoring and recording of growth chamber environmental conditions
  9. Daily monitoring and recording of mushroom fruiting body growth
  10. Cloning of suitable mushroom strains
  11. Development of custom mushroom hybrids
  12. Preparation of custom mushroom spore prints, spore swabs, and liquid cultures
