Episode #32 - Best Moments

I’m so excited to share with you some of our favourite moments from The Eversio Experience Podcast. Over the past season, we’ve had the privilege of talking to incredible wellness experts, inspiring entrepreneurs, and thought leaders who’ve shared their wisdom on holistic health, mental clarity, and functional nutrition.

In this special “Best Moments” episode, we’re revisiting some of the conversations that have truly shaped our community and the way we approach wellness. From deep dives into mind-body connection with Taylar Sherriff, to nutrition insights from Joy McCarthy, to reflections on entrepreneurship with Craig Garden, each discussion has been a gift — not just for our listeners, but for us as a team.

Whether you’re new to the podcast or a long-time listener, here’s a peek into the highlights, insights, and resources that can help you live a more balanced, energized, and nourished life.

Chapter 1: Finding Your Zone of Genius

One of the earliest lessons I learned with Craig and our team is the importance of working in your zone of genius.

Every one of us is built differently, with unique strengths, skills, and passions. When we designed Eversio, we wanted to create an environment where people weren’t just doing a job—they were living in their zone of genius. This means doing work that feels natural, energizing, and meaningful.

When you’re in your zone of genius, what might feel difficult for others feels effortless for you. It’s the difference between pushing through something you dislike and naturally thriving in a role where your energy flows. Over the years, we’ve seen how attracting people who are aligned with this philosophy has created a culture that’s not only productive but joyful.

Chapter 2: The Hardest Days Teach the Most

Building a business from scratch isn’t glamorous. The early days at Eversio were filled with mental, emotional, and physical challenges. Craig and I often supported each other through breakdowns, sleepless nights, and moments of self-doubt.

It’s easy to see a wellness brand and assume it’s all glowing skin, clean energy, and perfectly balanced routines. But the truth is, vulnerability is where growth lives. The hard moments taught us resilience, patience, and the importance of having a partner to balance the journey.

One of my favourite lessons from these early struggles is that the biggest learnings often come right beside the hard moments. When you face adversity and push through it, the reward isn’t just survival—it’s transformation.

Chapter 3: Redefining Success in Wellness and Business

When most people think of success, they imagine a big paycheque, awards, or public recognition. But for Craig and me, success is living with purpose and doing what we love every day.

It’s about meaningful conversations with our community, helping people improve their mental and physical health, and seeing the impact of our work on real lives. It’s about being good role models for our children, nurturing our relationships, and staying true to the mission that started it all: helping people feel better in a sustainable, joyful way.

For entrepreneurs and wellness professionals alike, I encourage you to redefine success not as external validation, but as daily fulfillment. When you feel energized, engaged, and proud of the work you do, that is true success.

Chapter 4: Lessons from Our Guests

In our “Best Moments” episode, we revisit conversations with some incredible minds:

Taylar Sherriff: Mind-Body Connection

Taylar reminded us that our nervous system and mental health are just as important as nutrition and exercise. Incorporating stress management, mindfulness, and daily movement can drastically improve your overall wellbeing.

Joy McCarthy: Nutrition and Skin Health

Joy shared her journey with hormonal imbalances, gut health, and skin challenges, emphasizing the importance of a holistic approach to wellness. She highlighted how small, consistent habits—like walking in nature, eating nourishing foods, and caring for your microbiome—can create lasting change.

Craig Garden: Entrepreneurship and Resilience

Craig offered deep insights on navigating the ups and downs of business ownership, from first-day sales anxieties to building a mission-driven team. His advice: focus on creating value and fostering meaningful relationships, not chasing short-term metrics.

Mindy Crawford and Roslyn Kent: Functional Wellness

Mindy and Roslyn brought their expertise in functional nutrition and lifestyle habits, demonstrating how mushrooms, adaptogens, and mindful movement can support energy, focus, and overall vitality.

Chapter 5: Functional Mushrooms and Daily Wellness

One topic that consistently comes up on the podcast is the power of functional mushrooms. They’re more than a trend—they’re backed by research to support immunity, cognition, energy, and stress response.

I personally take a blend of mushrooms daily and have seen dramatic improvements in focus, energy, and recovery. Mushrooms have even supported me through pregnancy, postpartum, and high-stress periods while running a business.

For anyone curious about getting started, we always recommend:

  1. Starting with a foundation mushroom blend
  2. Being consistent for several weeks to notice effects
  3. Pairing supplementation with sleep, nutrition, and stress management

Chapter 6: Movement, Nature, and Recovery

Another recurring theme is the importance of daily movement and time in nature. High-intensity workouts aren’t always necessary—walking, hiking, and spending time outdoors can dramatically improve mood, nervous system regulation, and gut health.

Forest bathing, exposure to daylight, and low-intensity exercise help reduce stress, improve motility, and support a healthier microbiome. For women especially, it’s essential to fuel, hydrate, and recover properly to see benefits from movement.

Chapter 7: Manifesting Your Energy and Following Your Flow

During our episodes, we explore the concept of energy types—like manifesting generators and projectors—and how understanding your energy can help you:

  • Follow your natural rhythm
  • Reduce guilt around unfinished projects
  • Avoid burnout
  • Create a career and lifestyle aligned with your strengths

Our guests highlighted that embracing your natural energy, rather than forcing yourself into a one-size-fits-all path, is a critical part of long-term wellness and productivity.

Chapter 8: Holistic Health Is More Than a Checklist

One of the biggest lessons across all our conversations: wellness isn’t just about diet, supplements, or workouts—it’s a holistic lifestyle.

  • Sleep: Recovery is as important as work.
  • Relationships: Emotional health impacts physical health.
  • Environment: Spending time outdoors regulates stress and circadian rhythms.
  • Mindset: Gratitude, purpose, and mindful practices amplify all other health habits.

These elements are interconnected, creating a ripple effect where one positive change supports others. Our goal at Eversio is to make holistic wellness approachable, sustainable, and enjoyable.

Chapter 9: Lessons Learned from Running Eversio

Looking back on the journey, my biggest takeaways are:

  • Partner with people who complement you — support and balance are key.
  • Focus on meaningful impact over metrics — when people feel better, business success follows.
  • Take small, consistent steps — transformation is a journey, not a race.
  • Embrace vulnerability — sharing challenges builds connection and trust.
  • Celebrate your wins — even the small victories matter.

Running Eversio has been a masterclass in patience, persistence, and presence. Every breakdown, every challenge, and every triumph has shaped our philosophy and the way we connect with our community.

Chapter 10: Join Us for the Best Moments

The “Best Moments” episode of The Eversio Experience Podcast is a celebration of learning, growth, and holistic wellness. Whether you’re:

  • A wellness enthusiast
  • An entrepreneur looking for inspiration
  • Curious about functional mushrooms and mindful living

…this episode has something for you.

We invite you to listen, reflect, and take action on the lessons shared by our guests and our team. And if one thing resonates with you, start there—it’s often the small, intentional steps that create the biggest impact.

Final Thoughts

Running a wellness brand isn’t about perfection. It’s about curiosity, experimentation, and growth. It’s about building a community that supports each other and prioritises wellbeing in every facet of life.

From our early days of messy kitchens, sleepless nights, and first sales anxieties, to today, sharing insights with Taylar Sherriff, Joy McCarthy, Craig Garden, Mindy Crawford, and Roslyn Kent, the journey has been as transformative for us as it has been for our listeners.

I hope this blog inspires you to take small, intentional steps toward wellness, embrace your energy, and remember: the best moments often come from learning, connecting, and being present.

With gratitude,

Brandi Garden.
