Fruiting Body
The mushroom you recognize.
The fruiting body is the part that grows into the mushroom you can see and recognize, like the cap and stem of a typical mushroom. It’s the part we use to make our concentrated mushroom extracts.
The Morning Duo brings together two of our best-selling mushrooms, Lion’s Mane and Cordyceps, in one simple capsule routine.

Two bottles can both say “mushroom supplement” on the front and contain very different ingredients. One of the first things to check for is what part of the mushroom was used and how it was grown.

The network it grows from.
Mycelium is the network of fine, thread-like structures the mushroom grows from. It can be a legitimate mushroom ingredient, but it is often cultivated on grains such as rice or oats.
Where the label can become less obvious.
When mycelium is grown on grain and the whole growing material is processed together, some of that grain can become part of the finished ingredient. That means a product labelled as a mushroom supplement may contain both mushroom material and grain.
Both Lion’s Mane and Cordyceps are concentrated extracts made from 100% mushroom fruiting bodies, with no grain substrate in the extracts.
Two mushroom supplements can list the same number of milligrams and still be very different products. Extract ratio and beta-glucan content give you more information about what’s actually behind that number.
Both mushrooms in the Morning Duo are 8:1 extracts. The ratio tells you how much dried mushroom went into making the finished amount in the capsule.
Beta-glucans are naturally occurring compounds found in mushroom cell walls. Measuring them gives you another useful way to understand what’s actually in a mushroom extract.
You may also see mushroom supplements advertise a high “polysaccharide” percentage. The problem is that polysaccharides aren’t unique to mushrooms. Grains contain them too. So if a product is made with mycelium grown on grain and some of that grain remains, it can contribute to the total polysaccharide number on the label.
A high polysaccharide percentage doesn’t necessarily mean a high mushroom beta-glucan content.
That’s why we tell you the beta-D-glucan content of our extracts rather than relying on a broader polysaccharide number.
A higher beta-glucan percentage doesn’t automatically mean one mushroom extract is better than another. Different mushrooms naturally have different compositions. What matters is that the amount is measured and clearly stated.
Quality claims mean more when you can check them for yourself. We use third-party certification and independent testing so there’s more behind the label than a promise from us.
Our mushroom extracts are USDA Organic Certified. That certification is independently maintained and can be looked up through the USDA Organic Integrity Database.
VERIFY OUR CERTIFICATION
Independent laboratory testing is part of how we verify our mushroom extracts. We also make our available Certificates of Analysis accessible so you can look beyond the claims on the label.

Some things are easier to do when you can really be there for them. Lion’s Mane has found a natural place in people’s routines for parts of the day that ask you to think, learn, or simply stay present with what’s in front of you.
Cordyceps has long found a place with people who like to be active or simply have plenty on their to-do list. A busy weekend, a workout, or one of those days when you want a little something left after the work is done.
Together, Lion’s Mane and Cordyceps make a simple pairing for mornings that could lead just about anywhere.
If coffee or matcha already has a place in your morning, it can stay right where it is. The Morning Duo isn’t another drink to make or a new morning ritual to master. It’s two capsules of each mushroom, taken alongside whatever your morning already looks like.
We know an easy routine matters. In our mushroom quiz, one in three people told us their morning caffeine was a must-have. When we asked about format, 88% said capsules work for them.
Keep the coffee. Give your mushrooms a place beside it.
These are individual customer experiences with Lion’s Mane and Cordyceps. We’ve left them in their own words.
So far I feel a small yet marked improvement in cognitive function after using Lion's Mane consistently for merely a couple of weeks. Example: Spending a little less time wondering what it was that I was about to do!
This is such an incredible supplement for mental focus and being able to handle the stresses of day to day life! I’m so glad I have incorporated it into my routine
I started taking cordyceps about 5 months ago and they have made a world of a difference in my life. I have so much more energy, I am able to get that little extra push I needed to support a healthy lifestyle! Definitely recommend

Yes. The Morning Duo is designed to fit alongside the morning routine you already have. Coffee or matcha can stay right where it is.
Some customers do combine single mushrooms or blends. If you’re taking multiple supplements or have questions about what’s appropriate for you, check with your health care provider.
Eversio was founded by husband-and-wife team Craig and Brandi Garden.
Their relationship with functional mushrooms started personally. Craig discovered them through his active lifestyle, while Brandi’s interest grew through her own health journey. Over time, that personal connection became Eversio.
Today, they’re raising a family, running a growing business and building the kind of mushroom company they wanted to find in the first place, one that takes what goes into the bottle seriously and gives customers the information to understand what they’re buying.
Eversio has grown, but it is still very much a family business with real people behind it.
