Spring is the time to lighten up and give your liver some extra love! We can do this by adding in more antioxidants, fibre rich carbohydrates, healthy sources of amino acids, and liver detox supportive nutrients.
According to Traditional Chinese culture, we should consume more greens, sprouts, and Liver Qi moving foods like radishes during the spring season, which is associated with the liver organ system. You can also add ingredients like fennel, sprouts, dandelion, and carrots to help provide nutrients to support the liver & move toxins out of the body.
