  • balances blood sugar for good mood, metabolism & steady energy with a combo of protein, healthy fats, & fibre

  • supports your nervous system, brain health & ability to adapt to stress so you can feel more focused & productive
  • tastes so good that you look forward to eating breakfast so you feel accomplished & motivated

Here are the benefits of the recipe:

Hemp seeds

Hemp seed comes from the plant cannabis sativa and has been used by man for hundreds of years. It is a perfect protein supplement because it is easily digestible and it contains all essential amino acids our bodies need. Hemp seed is a great source of omega-3 and omega-6 (essential fatty acids) and provides an ideal balance between the two. It is also a good source of omega-9. These healthy fats are not stored in our bodies so it is important to consume sufficient amounts daily. Hemp also contains chlorophyll, vitamin E and B’s, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and calcium, which are involved in energy metabolism, protein and bone synthesis. Hemp products include: shelled hemp seeds, hemp protein powder, hemp seed butter and hemp milk (choose unsweetened hemp milk)

Collagen is the most abundant protein that’s naturally found in our bodies. It’s in our muscles, bones, nails and skin and it’s a substance that holds our bodies together. Reduced synthesis of collagen (due to aging, stress, poor diet and digestion) combined with failure to replace damaged collagen with newly synthesized material is critical to overall health. Taking a high-quality grass-fed collagen powder is helpful for healthy skin, hair, nails, and joints. Collagen also helps repair gut lining, increase nutrient absorption, aid detoxification, and support metabolic health.

Like all berries, raspberries have a high fibre content (7 grams per cup), which helps to support a healthy and diverse microbiome (healthy gut microbes), balanced blood sugar, and helps to remove harmful toxins & waste from our system. Raspberries are also low glycemic to support healthy insulin levels and are rich in antioxidants (especially vitamin C) that support reduced inflammation and diseases like cancer, Alzheimer's and arthritis.

Medicinal Mushrooms

Medicinal mushrooms are a class of edible fungi that are used to help the body adapt to stressors of all kinds ~ physical, chemical, and biological. Each type of medicinal mushroom has its own unique properties and benefits to support homeostasis.

Most commonly, medicinal mushrooms are utilized to enhance immune, hormonal, & cognitive health due to their high antioxidant content & adaptogenic properties.

This blend is also beneficial for improved immune function and reduction in chronic inflammation.
