Revitalize Your Body and Mind with this Adrenal Booster Smoothie

adrenal smoothie recipe

Let’s face it, in today’s world we all need some adrenal love to help support the body as it tries to combat all the extra stress that’s constantly affecting us on a daily basis.

Our Adrenal Booster Smoothie recipe was designed by nutritionist, Annaliisa Kapp, to help support your body as it combats daily stressors.

The effects of toxins, food allergens, sugar, caffeine, alcohol, refined foods, and emotional stress from relationships and workload can lead to chronic fatigue, brain fog, and hormonal imbalance.

By providing the right foods, adaptogens, and stress-relieving activities like nature walks and deep breathing, you can nourish and support your adrenal glands and nervous system for optimal health.

Thriving Under Stress: What Your Adrenal Glands Need

  • Vitamin C {oranges} is important because it is used in the formation of adrenal hormones, such as cortisol, and plays an important anti-inflammatory role protecting the adrenals.
  • Electrolyte minerals like magnesium, potassium, sodium {swiss chard, celery, coconut} for energy production, blood pressure & water balance.
  • Healthy fats, fibre rich carbs and protein to help slow down the absorption of glucose into the bloodstream, provide building blocks for hormones and help the body detoxify.
